Human Lipase, Lipoprotein (LIPD) ELISA Kit

Quantitative measurement of lipoprotein lipase supports research into hypertriglyceridemia, atherosclerosis progression, insulin resistance, and inherited lipid metabolism disorders. Lipoprotein lipase is the endothelial-anchored enzyme that hydrolyzes triglycerides carried by circulating chylomicrons and very low-density lipoproteins, liberating free fatty acids for uptake by muscle and adipose tissue. The Assay Genie Human Lipase, Lipoprotein (LIPD) ELISA Kit quantifies this enzyme across multiple human specimen types in a 96-assay plate format.

Validated for serum or plasma preparations alongside tissue homogenates and cell lysates, the kit enables flexible study designs spanning hepatic, adipose, vascular, and skeletal muscle research under dietary, pharmacological, or genetic manipulation. The plate is supplied precoated with capture antibody, and the colorimetric signal is read on a standard microplate reader fitted with the appropriate filter.

Reconstituted standards and detection antibody should be refrigerated between uses and kept protected from light, while the unopened kit remains stable under standard cold-chain storage until the labeled expiration.
