Human Lipase, Hepatic (LIPC) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Human Lipase, Hepatic (LIPC) ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of hepatic lipase, a liver-secreted lipolytic enzyme that remodels triglyceride- and phospholipid-rich lipoproteins and plays a pivotal role in HDL cholesterol metabolism. Researchers studying lipid disorders, atherosclerosis, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), insulin resistance, and type 2 diabetes use LIPC quantitation to evaluate hepatic lipase activity across metabolic phenotypes. Reagents are provided for a microplate run in the standard Assay Genie format, with capture antibody pre-coated onto wells and matched detector antibody, streptavidin-HRP, substrate solution, and stop reagent included. Reconstituted standards and antibodies remain stable at refrigerated temperatures; unused strips should be sealed and returned to 4 °C storage. Each kit accommodates serum or plasma, tissue homogenate, and cell lysate inputs, with a recommended loading of roughly 100 uL of diluted sample per well.
