Human Lipase H/LIPH ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody format immunoassay designed for the quantitative measurement of Lipase H/LIPH in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit shows a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL with an assay range of 1.563–100 ng/mL.

Validated linearity has been demonstrated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, with reported ranges of 88-98% / 87-101% / 93-99% for serum (n=5), 86-102% / 92-94% / 81-97% for EDTA plasma (n=5) and 86-103% / 88-100% / 98-100% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery testing reports average values of 94% for serum (n=5), 97% for EDTA plasma (n=5) and 93% for heparin plasma (n=5). The workflow uses reagent and TMB substrate equilibration, 37°C primary incubation for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes, TMB development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution. Unopened kit components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Lipase is an enzyme that breaks down fats for absorption, and dysregulation of lipase activity has been linked to metabolic disorders such as obesity, diabetes and pancreatitis, making it a useful biomarker for related research applications.
