Human Lipase, Gastric (LIPF) ELISA Kit

Acid-stable and active at low gastric pH, LIPF is a digestive enzyme secreted by chief cells of the gastric mucosa, where it initiates triglyceride hydrolysis before chyme reaches the duodenum and complements pancreatic lipase activity. The Assay Genie sandwich ELISA employs a human-specific capture antibody with no significant cross-reactivity observed against related lipase family members such as LIPG, LIPC, LIPE, or LIPH. Researchers commonly apply this reagent to investigate lipid malabsorption, exocrine gastric function, neonatal fat digestion, and cystic fibrosis-related steatorrhea. Each kit contains a pre-coated microplate and is validated for research use only on serum and plasma specimens.
