The Assay Genie LAT ELISA Kit is a quantitative in vitro immunoassay that measures human Linker for Activation of T-Cells protein in tissue homogenates and cell lysates. LAT is a transmembrane adaptor protein that localizes to the plasma membrane and becomes phosphorylated on tyrosine residues following T-cell receptor engagement, coordinating downstream calcium signaling and lymphocyte activation through recruitment of effectors including PLC-gamma1 and Grb2. Researchers apply this colorimetric plate-based assay to investigate T-cell signaling defects, immune synapse formation, and LAT-associated immunodeficiency in primary lymphocyte preparations and transfected cell models.

The kit ships with pre-coated microwell strips, biotinylated detection antibody, recombinant human LAT standards, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution, supporting 96 determinations when run at full capacity.
