Human LIM homeobox transcription factor 1-beta (LMX1B) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human LIM homeobox transcription factor 1-beta (LMX1B) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The colorimetric assay is reactive with human samples and operates over a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.13 ng/mL. Reported coefficients of variation are 4.7% (intra-assay) and 8.5% (inter-assay). Spiked recovery averages 110% in serum (range 104–116%) and 112% in plasma (range 106–118%). Specificity covers natural and recombinant human LMX1B.

LMX1B is a LIM-homeodomain transcription factor localised to the nucleus and essential for the normal development of dorsal limb structures, the glomerular basement membrane, the anterior segment of the eye, and dopaminergic and serotonergic neurons. Defects in LMX1B are linked to nail-patella syndrome. The kit is intended for research use only within the neurosciences field.
