Human LIGHT/TNFSF14 Protein ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of TNFSF14, also known as LIGHT — a member of the tumor necrosis factor superfamily involved in immune responses, inflammation, and immune cell activation — this assay kit from Assay Genie provides a sensitive research tool for studies in autoimmune disease, chronic inflammation, and cancer, where dysregulation of TNFSF14 has been implicated.

The kit employs a sandwich ELISA format using a double-antibody approach, with a target-specific antibody pre-coated onto the wells of a microplate. Captured analyte is detected using a biotinylated antibody followed by HRP-conjugated Streptavidin and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. It is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25 to 2000 pg/mL. A validated Bradford Reagent is included to support total protein quantification and sample normalization.

For research use only, the kit is intended to be stored at 2-8°C and is reported to remain stable for up to 12 months under recommended conditions. Reported linearity in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 falls within the 80-105% range, with recovery averaging 92-96% across the same matrices.
