Description

Assay Genie's Human LIFR (Leukemia Inhibitory Factor Receptor) ELISA Kit is a colorimetric sandwich ELISA in a double-antibody format, designed for quantifying LIFR in human samples. It is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. The assay has a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, delivering accurate and reproducible measurement of LIFR across research applications.

The LIFR is a critical component of cellular signalling pathways involved in cell growth, differentiation, and survival. Its dysregulation has been implicated in leukemia, inflammatory disorders, and autoimmune conditions, making it a valuable biomarker in disease research and therapeutic development. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C, where they remain stable for up to 12 months. The kit is supplied with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual.

The standard procedure involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, loading standards, samples and blanks onto the pre-coated plate, incubating at 37°C with the biotin-labelled detection antibody followed by HRP-Streptavidin, developing colour with TMB substrate in the dark, and reading absorbance at 450 nm after adding the stop solution. Linearity and recovery have been validated for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across multiple dilutions.
