Human Leukotriene B4 receptor 1 (LTB4R) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Leukotriene B4 receptor 1 (LTB4R) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids. The assay uses colorimetric detection and is intended for research use only.

Sensitivity is 0.43 ng/mL with a standard range of 0.78–50 ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is 4.3% CV and inter-assay precision is 8.3% CV. Linearity was tested at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions. In serum (n=5), recoveries were 98–110%, 107–117%, 110–120%, and 100–110% across these dilutions. EDTA plasma (n=5) gave 88–98%, 107–115%, 110–110%, and 112–124%; heparin plasma (n=5) gave 99–110%, 111–121%, 93–102%, and 96–107%. Mean recovery was 104% (range 98–110%) in serum and 106% (range 100–112%) in plasma. Specificity is reported for natural and recombinant human LTB4R.

LTB4R is a G-protein coupled receptor that mediates leukotriene B4 signalling, a key pathway in the inflammatory response involved in leukocyte recruitment and activation. Dysregulation of LTB4R has been implicated in inflammatory conditions including asthma, arthritis, and inflammatory bowel disease, supporting research applications in inflammation biology and therapeutic target discovery.
