Description

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human Leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor subfamily A member 2 (LILRA2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit is intended for research use only and supports immunology studies, where LILRA2 is investigated as a regulator of immune responses and a biomarker relevant to inflammatory and autoimmune conditions.

Key performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.076 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 6.3% and an inter-assay CV of 10.9%. Linearity has been established in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery ranges from 80–92% in serum (average 86%) and 82–94% in plasma (average 88%). The assay recognises natural and recombinant human LILRA2 (Uniprot Q8N149), a homodimeric activating receptor of the leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor subfamily, also known by the synonyms CD85h, ILT-1, LIR-7, ILT1, LIR7, CD85 antigen-like family member H and immunoglobulin-like transcript 1. Functionally, LILRA2 does not bind class I MHC antigens, and ligand binding has been reported to activate eosinophils, leading to the release of RNASE2, IL4 and leukotriene C4.

Reactivity is limited to human samples and the assay is read colorimetrically with a microplate reader set to 450 nm. Storage requirements vary by component; please refer to the supplied kit components sheet for exact details.
