Human Leukocyte elastase inhibitor (SERPINB1) ELISA Kit

The kit delivers a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.12 ng/ml. Precision is reported at an intra-assay CV of 4.7% and inter-assay CV of 9.2%. Linearity has been verified in serum (93–102% at 1:2, 109–119% at 1:4, 109–120% at 1:8, and 85–93% at 1:16), EDTA plasma (107–115%, 110–120%, 103–113%, 107–119%), and heparin plasma (90–100%, 91–103%, 92–103%, 94–106%). Recovery averages 100% (range 94–106%) in serum and 102% (range 96–108%) in plasma.

SERPINB1, also known as monocyte/neutrophil elastase inhibitor, peptidase inhibitor 2, or Serpin B1, is a monomeric cytoplasmic serine protease inhibitor that regulates the activity of neutrophil proteases including elastase, cathepsin G, proteinase-3, chymase, chymotrypsin, and kallikrein-3, and also acts as a potent intracellular inhibitor of granzyme H. Calculated molecular weights are 26 kDa and 42 kDa, with an observed weight of 43 kDa. The protein is localised to the cytoplasm and cytoplasmic granules, and is encoded at chromosomal location 6p25 (UniProt P30740). For research use only.
