Human Leukocyte A/HLA-A ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of Human Leukocyte A (HLA-A) in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody format uses colorimetric detection, with a reported sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. The associated Uniprot identifier is P30443. The manufacturer describes HLA-A as a key protein involved in the immune system, specifically presenting antigens to T cells and regulating immune responses, and states that measuring HLA-A levels can support research into immune-related diseases, autoimmune disorders, and transplantation rejection.

Linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions. Reported ranges were 91–105%, 82–92% and 81–94% for serum (n=5); 87–102%, 89–99% and 80–98% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 101–105%, 96–101% and 82–97% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery testing gave ranges of 88–102% (average 95%) in serum, 87–103% (average 94%) in EDTA plasma, and 89–105% (average 95%) in heparin plasma. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, with the microplate strips and lyophilized standard additionally rated for 12 months at -20°C.
