Human Leukemia inhibitory factor receptor (LIFR) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie, designed for the quantitative measurement of human Leukemia inhibitory factor receptor (LIFR, also known as CD118 or LIF receptor), is intended for use with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay detects both natural and recombinant human LIFR.

Colorimetric detection covers a range of 7.8-500pg/mL with a sensitivity of 3.9pg/mL. Reported precision includes an Intra-assay CV of 4.2% and an Inter-assay CV of 7.1%. Recovery in serum averages 98% (range 92-104%) and in plasma averages 100% (range 94-106%).

LIFR functions as a signal-transducing molecule that may share a common pathway with IL6ST; the soluble form inhibits the biological activity of LIF by blocking its binding to receptors on target cells. The kit is supplied for research use only.
