Human Leucyl-cystinyl aminopeptidase (LNPEP) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative detection of human Leucyl-cystinyl aminopeptidase (LNPEP) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit recognises natural and recombinant human LNPEP, a zinc-dependent aminopeptidase that cleaves N-terminal amino acids (including cysteine and leucine) and degrades peptide hormones such as oxytocin, vasopressin and angiotensin III. The protein circulates as a homodimer that binds tankyrases 1 and 2 and has a reported molecular weight of 117 kDa.

According to the manufacturer's specification, the assay has a sensitivity of 0.24 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.78-50 ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is 7.1% CV and inter-assay precision is 9.5% CV. Reported linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions falls within 95-117% for serum, 97-117% for EDTA plasma and 88-113% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery averages are 100% (range 94-106%) for serum and 102% (range 96-108%) for plasma. The kit is supplied for research use only.
