Human Leucine-rich repeat-containing G-protein coupled receptor 4 (LGR4) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of human Leucine-rich repeat-containing G-protein coupled receptor 4 (LGR4), this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is intended for research use only. The assay provides a detection range of 0.625-40 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.32 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 4.5% and an inter-assay CV of 7.2%.

Validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, the kit specifically detects natural and recombinant human LGR4 (also known as G-protein coupled receptor 48 / GPR48; UniProt Q9BXB1). LGR4 is a multi-pass cell-membrane receptor for R-spondins that potentiates the canonical Wnt signaling pathway, with roles in the development and maintenance of organs including the liver, kidney, intestine, bone, reproductive tract and eye. It acts as a regulator of bone formation and remodeling, supports spermatogenesis and intestinal stem cell maintenance, and has been implicated in diseases such as cancer, metabolic disorders and skeletal abnormalities.

In validation studies, recovery averaged 91% (range 85-97%) in serum and 93% (range 87-99%) in plasma.
