Quantify the 16 kDa satiety-signaling adipokine leptin in human specimens with this sandwich-based immunoassay kit from Assay Genie. Supplied as a complete set of eight reagents sized for a 96-well strip plate, the kit targets the human leptin gene product (UniProt P41159; gene symbol LEP) secreted by white adipose tissue and is calibrated for quantitative readout of serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatant samples.

Each well receives a 100 uL sample volume during the standard protocol, which proceeds through biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-conjugated HRP, and a TMB one-step substrate before stopping and reading absorbance.
