Human Lectin, Mannose Binding 2 (LMAN2) ELISA Kit

Built for in vitro research use, the Assay Genie Human Lectin, Mannose Binding 2 (LMAN2) ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of LMAN2 protein across multiple human specimen types including blood-derived samples, tissue homogenate preparations, and other body fluids. LMAN2, also known as VIP36 (Vesicular Integral-Membrane Protein 36), is a type I transmembrane lectin residing in the endoplasmic reticulum-Golgi intermediate compartment and cis-Golgi network, where it selectively binds mannose-rich N-glycans on nascent glycoproteins and contributes to their sorting decisions within the secretory pathway.

Each kit supplies reagents for 96 assays, supporting investigations of glycoprotein trafficking, lectin involvement in tumor cell adhesion and metastasis, and characterization of congenital disorders of glycosylation. Absorbance values are captured on a standard microplate reader, and the workflow is appropriate for both small pilot studies and broader screening efforts in academic, clinical, and pharmaceutical research environments.
