Quantitative measurement of leukocyte cell-derived chemotaxin 1 (LECT1) in human research samples is enabled by this in vitro immunoassay kit from Assay Genie. LECT1, also known as chondromodulin-1 (ChM-I), is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein of approximately 37 kDa encoded on chromosome 13q14.3 that supports chondrocyte proliferation and is implicated in cartilage matrix maintenance and tumor angiogenesis regulation.

This research-use-only assay supports investigations in cartilage biology, osteoarthritis studies, chondrosarcoma research, and oncology workflows where LECT1 expression loss is examined as a marker of neovascular switching. The kit provides reagents sufficient for 96 Assays in a microplate format and is applicable to laboratories performing protein quantification in cell culture supernatants and clarified lysates.

Storage and handling guidance accompanies the kit, including recommended temperature conditions to preserve antibody binding activity across the shelf life of unopened components. Reconstituted standards and working solutions should be aliquoted and stored according to the package insert to limit freeze-thaw cycles and maintain inter-assay precision.

Each kit from Assay Genie includes a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized recombinant standards, detection antibody concentrate, dilution buffers, substrate solution, stop solution, wash concentrate, and a sealed plate cover. Researchers using this ELISA format can generate standard curves for relative quantification of endogenous LECT1 in human-derived samples and conditioned media.
