Human LCN12/Lipocalin-12 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format to quantify human Lipocalin-12 (LCN12), also referred to as epididymal-specific lipocalin-12. Detection is colorimetric: a biotin-labelled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate bind the captured analyte, TMB substrate is added, and absorbance is read at 450 nm after the stop reaction.

Reported sensitivity is 37.5 pg/mL and the working range is 62.5-4000 pg/mL. The kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples, and is supplied for use in signal transduction research. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 88-101% / 83-97% / 87-96% for serum, 87-105% / 84-98% / 82-89% for EDTA plasma, and 86-97% / 83-100% / 82-100% for heparin plasma (all n=5). Spike-and-recovery gives mean values of 98% for serum, 93% for EDTA plasma, and 93% for heparin plasma, with corresponding ranges of 89-103%, 85-99%, and 86-103%.
