Human LAMP1/CD107a PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0822)

Built around quantitative in vitro detection of human LAMP1 (also known as CD107a), this Assay Genie kit supports research into lysosomal biology, autophagy, and immune cell effector function. LAMP1 is a heavily glycosylated type I transmembrane protein that resides on the inner membrane of lysosomes, and its CD107a epitope becomes transiently exposed on the plasma membrane during cytotoxic granule exocytosis, making it a widely used marker of degranulation in activated NK cells and CD8+ T cells.

The assay is applied across immunology, tumor surveillance, infectious disease, and neuroscience workflows, where researchers track changes in LAMP1 expression under drug treatment, viral or bacterial challenge, and disease-model conditions. LAMP1 also participates in chaperone-mediated autophagy and contributes to the maintenance of lysosomal membrane integrity, which is why it is frequently measured in studies of neurodegeneration, metabolic disorders, and lysosomal storage diseases.
