Human Laminin subunit alpha-1/LAMA1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA developed for the quantification of LAMA1 in mouse-derived samples. The assay accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples and operates on a standard curve covering 0.781-50 ng/mL with a reported sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL.

Linearity across dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) was reported as 91-105%, 97-103% and 91-105% for serum (n=5); 85-98%, 82-88% and 89-99% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 86-98%, 84-90% and 80-98% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery averaged 95% for serum (range 85-105%), 97% for EDTA plasma (range 93-102%) and 97% for heparin plasma (range 88-105%). Uniprot reference P19137 is associated with the target.

Storage is at 2-8°C for 12 months. LAMA1 is described as a key component of laminin involved in cell adhesion, migration and differentiation within the extracellular matrix, with altered expression linked to muscular dystrophy, kidney diseases and certain cancers.
