Human Lamin B1 (LMNB1) ELISA Kit

Lamin B1 (LMNB1) is a type V intermediate filament protein that forms part of the nuclear lamina meshwork underlying the inner nuclear membrane. This Assay Genie kit quantitatively measures LMNB1 in tissue homogenates and cell lysates using a sandwich ELISA workflow, supporting research into nuclear envelope integrity, chromatin organization, and gene regulation.

The assay supports studies of cellular senescence, where LMNB1 expression declines with age, and investigations of autosomal dominant leukodystrophy (ADLD), a rare demyelinating disorder linked to LMNB1 gene duplication.
