Human Lamin A/C (LMNA) ELISA Kit

Quantitative measurement of Lamin A and Lamin C proteins in human samples is supported by the Assay Genie Human Lamin A/C (LMNA) ELISA Kit. Lamin A/C are A-type lamins encoded by the LMNA gene, forming the nuclear lamina meshwork that supports nuclear envelope integrity, chromatin organization, and mechanotransduction. Aberrant Lamin A/C expression and processing are investigated in progeria research, dilated cardiomyopathy, Emery-Dreifuss muscular dystrophy, familial partial lipodystrophy, and broader studies of nuclear envelope integrity during cellular aging. The kit is supplied as a complete set of reagents sufficient for 96 assays. Samples are prepared from tissue homogenates, allowing researchers to examine Lamin A/C levels in cardiac, skeletal muscle, adipose, and other target tissues.
