Human Ladinin-1 (LAD1) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the detection of human Ladinin-1 (LAD1). The assay uses a colorimetric detection method, is intended for research use only, and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Ladinin-1 is an anchoring filament protein and a component of the basement membrane zone. It localises to the extracellular space, extracellular matrix and basement membrane, and is recognised for its role in maintaining skin integrity and barrier function. The protein is of interest in dermatological research, including in conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

Key performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.1 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.3% and an inter-assay CV of 7.5%. The kit specifically detects natural and recombinant human Ladinin-1 (UniProt O00515).
