Human Lactate Dehydrogenase C (LDHC) ELISA Kit

The LDHC enzyme (Lactate Dehydrogenase C) is the testis-specific isozyme of the LDH family, predominantly expressed in mature spermatozoa and encoded by the LDHC gene on chromosome 11. It plays a critical role in sperm motility and energy metabolism by catalysing the interconversion of lactate and pyruvate, which has made it an informative biomarker in studies of male reproductive biology and fertility.

This Assay Genie kit is configured as a 96-assay plate and uses a colorimetric read-out for the quantitative measurement of LDHC in human serum samples and plasma fractions, plus tissue homogenate preparations.
