Built around a sandwich ELISA format with colorimetric readout on a standard 96-well microplate, this quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie measures human lactate dehydrogenase A (LDHA), the muscle-subunit isoform of lactate dehydrogenase that drives the final step of anaerobic glycolysis (pyruvate to lactate with NAD+ regeneration) and is widely used as a read-out of the Warburg effect in tumor biology research.

Validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids from human donors, the kit supplies pre-coated wells, lyophilized standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP, wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution ready-to-use for in vitro workflows. Each pack supports 96 individual determinations.

The capture and detection antibody pair shows no significant cross-reactivity with related analogues, supporting specific quantification of the LDHA target (UniProt P00338).
