Human Lacritin (LACRT) ELISA Kit

Built around a 96 assays microplate workflow, the Assay Genie Human Lacritin (LACRT) ELISA Kit enables quantitative detection of lacritin, a prosecretory glycoprotein first characterized in human tears. Lacritin supports basal tear secretion, corneal epithelial cell proliferation, and ocular surface homeostasis, and altered lacritin levels have been investigated in dry eye disease, meibomian gland dysfunction, and tear film biomarker studies. The assay is intended for human research use, accepting saliva and tear fluid as primary sample types, and applies to ophthalmology research and salivary gland secretory investigations. Each kit ships with pre-coated microwell strips, detection reagents, and a protocol sufficient for the full plate; unopened kits should be refrigerated to preserve antibody binding activity until first use.
