Human La-related protein 7 (LARP7) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Sandwich ELISA enables quantitative measurement of Human La-related protein 7 (LARP7) in human samples by colorimetric detection. LARP7, also known as La ribonucleoprotein domain family member 7, P-TEFb-interaction protein for 7SK stability, PIP7S and HDCMA18P, is an RNA-binding nuclear protein that acts as a negative transcriptional regulator of polymerase II genes via the 7SK RNP system, sequestering P-TEFb in an inactive form to prevent RNA polymerase II phosphorylation and transcriptional elongation.

The assay covers a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 31pg/mL. Reported precision values are an Intra CV of 6.3% and an Inter CV of 8.5%. Linearity has been tested in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery in serum is 96% (range 90-102%) and in plasma is 98% (range 92-104%).

Recommended sample types are serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Specificity covers natural and recombinant human La-related protein 7 (UniProt Q4G0J3).
