Human L1CAM PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0817)

The Human L1CAM ELISA kit from Assay Genie targets the L1 cell adhesion molecule, a 200–220 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein also known as CD171. L1CAM supports axon guidance, neuronal migration, and synaptic plasticity during central nervous system development, and is increasingly studied in oncology as a circulating biomarker linked to tumour invasion and metastatic spread in carcinomas of the colon, breast, ovary, and lung.

The assay enables quantitative measurement of human L1CAM in conditioned cell culture medium, patient plasma, or serum specimens, and is calibrated specifically for the human L1CAM isoform. Reagents supplied with the microplate-format kit include a pre-coated strip plate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, calibrated reference standards, wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution, sized for the stated number of determinations per kit.

For storage, sealed components are kept refrigerated at 4 °C and equilibrated to room temperature before opening. Reconstituted standards and working dilutions of detection antibody are best held frozen in single-use aliquots to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The product is labelled for research use only and is not cleared for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
