Human L-seryl-tRNA (Sec)kinase (PSTK) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich-format ELISA using colorimetric detection for the quantitative measurement of human L-seryl-tRNA(Sec) kinase (PSTK). The assay is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.098 ng/mL. Precision is reported with an intra-assay CV of 3.9% and an inter-assay CV of 7.2%. Specificity is confirmed against natural and recombinant human L-seryl-tRNA(Sec) kinase, the enzyme that phosphorylates seryl-tRNA(Sec) to O-phosphoseryl-tRNA(Sec) as an activated intermediate in selenocysteine biosynthesis.

Recovery was characterised in serum (average 82%, range 80–88%) and plasma (average 84%, range 80–90%), with linearity demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.
