Human L-selectin (SELL) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human L-selectin (SELL) in biological samples. L-selectin is a cell surface adhesion protein that mediates the adherence of lymphocytes to endothelial cells of high endothelial venules in peripheral lymph nodes and promotes the initial tethering and rolling of leukocytes in endothelia. As a cell adhesion molecule involved in inflammation and immune cell trafficking, it is a valuable biomarker for studying autoimmune diseases, inflammatory conditions, and immune responses.

The kit is reactive with human samples and uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method. It is specific for natural and recombinant human L-selectin, with a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.34 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 6.8% and inter-assay CV is 9.2%. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16. Recovery is 101% in serum (range 95–107%) and 103% in plasma (range 97–109%). The kit is suitable for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids.
