Human L-lactate dehydrogenase B chain (LDHB) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of human L-lactate dehydrogenase B chain (LDHB) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay detects natural and recombinant human LDHB, a cytoplasmic homotetramer of approximately 37 kDa (UniProt P07195) implicated in lactate-to-pyruvate interconversion and relevant to metabolism research.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.42 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 6.8% and inter-assay CV is 9.6%. Linearity in serum at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is 109–119%, 88–98%, 104–114% and 105–115%; EDTA plasma values are 86–96%, 103–114%, 106–116% and 99–111%; heparin plasma values are 81–93%, 100–108%, 100–109% and 103–113%. Recovery averages 91% (range 85–97%) in serum and 93% (range 87–99%) in plasma.

LDHB dysregulation has been associated with cancer, cardiovascular and metabolic disorders, supporting its use as a biomarker in related research areas. For research use only.
