Human Kynurenine--oxoglutarate transaminase 1 (CCBL1) ELISA Kit

Developed by Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the accurate detection of human kynurenine–oxoglutarate transaminase 1 (CCBL1) levels in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay recognises human CCBL1 in its natural and recombinant forms and is intended for research use only.

CCBL1, also known as kynurenine aminotransferase 1, is a cytoplasmic homodimer enzyme (UniProt Q16773; molecular weight 27,420 Da) that catalyses the irreversible transamination of the L-tryptophan metabolite L-kynurenine to form kynurenic acid. It belongs to the kynurenine pathway of tryptophan metabolism, and dysregulation of this pathway has been linked to cancer, inflammatory disorders and neurological conditions.

Manufacturer-stated performance figures include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV, inter-assay CV, linearity and recovery values are supplied with the kit.
