Human Kynureninase ELISA Kit

A double-antibody Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables precise quantitative measurement of human kynureninase in research samples. The assay uses colorimetric detection and is applicable to serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Kynureninase is a key enzyme of the tryptophan metabolism pathway, contributing to the production of metabolites such as kynurenic acid; its dysregulation has been linked to neurodegenerative disorders, autoimmune conditions, and psychiatric disorders.

Linearity in serum at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions was reported as 87-101%, 83-100%, and 83-100%; in EDTA plasma as 85-97%, 89-99%, and 88-95%; and in heparin plasma as 85-100%, 86-103%, and 85-100%. Average recovery values were reported as 94% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma, and 97% for heparin plasma. The procedure involves reagent equilibration, a primary incubation of 90 minutes at 37°C, biotinylated detection antibody binding for 60 minutes at 37°C, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes at 37°C, TMB color development for 10–20 minutes in the dark, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution addition.
