Human Krueppel-like factor 13 (KLF13) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the accurate quantification of human Krueppel-like factor 13 (KLF13) in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It uses colorimetric detection (read at 450 nm) and is specific for natural and recombinant human KLF13.

Reported performance includes a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.087 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and inter-assay CV of 9.3%. Linearity in serum (n=5) was 108-118%, 112-121%, 88-98% and 81-91% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions respectively; EDTA plasma values were 89-98%, 103-115%, 105-115% and 90-100%, and heparin plasma values were 90-102%, 106-116%, 97-107% and 102-112%. Average recovery is 103% (range 97-109%) for serum and 105% (range 99-111%) for plasma.

KLF13 is a transcription factor implicated in gene regulation, cell differentiation and development, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, cardiovascular disorders and diabetes. The protein represses transcription by binding the BTE GC-rich element in competition with SP1 and via interaction with Sin3A and HDAC1, and activates RANTES expression in T-cells.
