KPNA6, also known as Importin alpha-7, is a nuclear transport receptor that recognizes classical nuclear localization signals and shuttles cargo proteins across the nuclear envelope. Researchers studying HIV-1 nuclear import, host-pathogen interactions, or karyopherin-mediated transport can use this kit to quantify KPNA6 levels in biological specimens.

The microplate is pre-coated with a human-specific capture antibody, and signal generation relies on a biotinylated detection antibody conjugated to streptavidin-HRP. Reconstituted standards are added to the wells in 100 uL aliquots, and unbound material is washed away before color development. The procedure is generally completed within a few hours from sample loading to plate readout.

For research use only; not intended for diagnostic procedures. Store unopened kit components under refrigerated conditions and protect reagent vials from light. The microplate frame, antibody vials, and buffer bottles remain stable until the expiration date printed on the Assay Genie outer box when stored as directed, provided standard stocks are not subjected to repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
