Human KPNA2/Karyopherin alpha 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA, double antibody kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human KPNA2 (Karyopherin Alpha 2, also known as Importin alpha-1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. KPNA2 is a key protein involved in nuclear import processes, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, viral infections, and neurological disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for research in these areas.

The assay reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, with absorbance read at 450 nm after TMB color development. Reported linearity in serum spans 82–104%, in EDTA plasma 81–104%, and in heparin plasma 83–100% across serial dilutions. Recovery averages 93% in serum, 98% in EDTA plasma, and 94% in heparin plasma. Unopened reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The kit is supplied with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, wash buffer, stop solution, plate sealers, and a technical manual.
