Human KLK10/Kallikrein 10 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative measurement of human Kallikrein-10 (KLK10), a secreted serine protease also referred to by the synonyms NES1, PRSSL1, Normal epithelial cell-specific 1, and Protease serine-like 1. The assay uses a colorimetric detection format and is reactive with human samples.

It is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, and recognises both natural and recombinant human Kallikrein-10. Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.625–40 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.156 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.1%, and an inter-assay CV of 9.4%.

KLK10 is encoded on chromosome 19q13 and belongs to the kallikrein subfamily of the peptidase S1 family. It has been described as having a tumour-suppressor role in breast and prostate cancer. The kit is intended for research use only.
