Human KLHL17/Kelch-like protein 17 ELISA Kit

A sandwich, double-antibody ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Kelch-like protein 17 (KLHL17), also known as Actinfilin (UniProt Q6TDP4). The colorimetric assay uses a pre-coated microplate with TMB substrate development, and absorbance is read at 450 nm after a stop reaction.

Reported sensitivity is 9.375 pg/mL with a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was tested in serum (86-105%, 87-103%, 85-104%), EDTA plasma (83-96%, 84-101%, 84-101%) and heparin plasma (82-95%, 81-90%, 82-94%). Spike-and-recovery was 88-104% (serum, average 96%), 88-99% (EDTA plasma, average 95%) and 89-101% (heparin plasma, average 95%). Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

KLHL17 is described as a critical protein involved in protein degradation and cell cycle regulation, with reported dysregulation in cancer, autoimmune disorders and neurodegenerative disease contexts.
