Built around human Krüppel-like factor 4 (KLF4), this quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie supports research into one of the four Yamanaka reprogramming factors used in induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) generation. KLF4 governs epithelial differentiation, intestinal barrier homeostasis, and monocyte differentiation, and is investigated in oncology for its context-dependent role as both tumor suppressor and oncogene.

The 96 assays kit uses an absorbance-based readout and accepts cell culture supernatants as well as heparinized plasma and serum specimens. Reconstituted reagents require refrigerated storage to maintain activity; the plate should equilibrate to room temperature before the assay run. Components remain stable through the expiration date on the label when stored as directed, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the standard should be avoided to preserve binding activity.
