Human KLC2 ELISA Kit (HUFI07733)

The Human KLC2 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of Kinesin Light Chain 2, a 622-amino-acid accessory subunit of the conventional kinesin-1 holoenzyme that links the KIF5 motor to membrane-bound organelles and protein cargoes undergoing microtubule-dependent anterograde transport. KLC2 contains six tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR) motifs that mediate cargo recognition, and the kit supports research into neuronal cargo trafficking, axonal transport deficits, and cytoskeletal motor regulation in human disease models.

Each microplate-based kit provides a pre-coated assay plate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, TMB substrate, wash buffer, and recombinant KLC2 standards sufficient for 96 individual determinations. Reagents should be stored at -20 °C with a shelf life of approximately 6 months, and the lyophilised standards should be reconstituted immediately before use to preserve immunoreactivity.

Intended for in vitro research applications, the assay follows a standard capture-antibody workflow with incubation-based chromogenic readout compatible with standard plate readers. The kit is for research use only.
