Human Kit ligand (KITLG) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Kit ligand (KITLG) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit detects natural and recombinant human Kit ligand with reactivity specific to human samples.

Kit Ligand, also known as mast cell growth factor, stem cell factor or c-Kit ligand, is a cytokine that plays an essential role in hematopoiesis, stem cell maintenance, mast cell development, migration and function, and melanogenesis. Abnormal levels have been associated with several diseases, making it a valuable biomarker for research, including studies in cancer.

The assay delivers a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.081ng/mL. Precision is reported with an intra-assay CV of 6.2% and an inter-assay CV of 10.5%. Linearity has been evaluated in serum (82-127%), EDTA plasma (81-111%) and heparin plasma (90-117%) across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with recovery averaging 104% (range 98-110%) for serum and 106% (range 100-112%) for plasma.
