Human KiSS-1 receptor (KISS1R) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate quantification of Kisspeptin1 receptor (KISS1R) levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. The assay employs a colorimetric detection method and is intended for the quantitative measurement of natural and recombinant human KISS1R.

KISS1R, also referred to as G-protein coupled receptor 54, GPR54, AXOR12, Hypogonadotropin-1, Kisspeptins receptor, and Metastin receptor, is a multi-pass membrane protein located at the cell membrane (UniProt Q969F8). The receptor plays a critical role in regulating the reproductive system by controlling the release of hormones involved in puberty and fertility, and its dysregulation has been implicated in various reproductive disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions.

The kit reports a detection range of 1.56-100ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.78ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.5% and inter-assay CV is 7.2%. Linearity has been validated in serum (95-104% to 81-91%), EDTA plasma (92-104% to 109-118%), and heparin plasma (105-116% to 96-104%) across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Average recovery is 81% (range 80-87%) in serum and 83% (range 80-89%) in plasma. Additional validated sample types include tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.
