Human Kininogen-1 (KNG1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human Kininogen-1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay recognises both natural and recombinant human Kininogen-1.

Reported performance includes a detection range of 1.56-100 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.098 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 3.8% and an inter-assay CV of 6.4%. Spike-and-recovery testing showed an average serum recovery of 82% (range 80-88%) and an average plasma recovery of 84% (range 80-90%). Linearity was assessed at 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

Kininogen-1 is a secreted extracellular protein that functions as an inhibitor of thiol proteases and contributes to blood coagulation and the kinin-kallikrein system.
