Human Kininogen-1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit for the quantitative measurement of Kininogen-1 in human samples. The assay is designed for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types, with detection carried out colorimetrically using TMB substrate and absorbance read at 450 nm. The procedure involves a 90 minute primary incubation at 37 °C, followed by 60 minute biotin-labeled detection antibody binding, 30 minute HRP-Streptavidin binding, and a 10–20 minute color development step in the dark.

Reported assay performance includes a sensitivity of 0.234 ng/mL and a range of 0.391–25 ng/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is given as 90–102%, 92–98%, and 87–97% for serum (n = 5); 87–103%, 86–100%, and 81–97% for EDTA plasma (n = 5); and 89–104%, 86–100%, and 87–93% for heparin plasma (n = 5). Recovery ranges are 89–103% with an average of 95% for serum (n = 5), 88–101% with an average of 93% for EDTA plasma (n = 5), and 89–98% with an average of 95% for heparin plasma (n = 5). The kit is intended for cardiovascular research and targets the protein associated with Uniprot accession P01042.
