The Assay Genie Human Kindlin 2 ELISA Kit provides researchers with a quantitative tool to measure Kindlin 2 (also known as FERMT2, MIG2, or UNC112) in human-derived experimental samples. Kindlin 2 is a focal adhesion protein that binds the cytoplasmic tails of integrin beta subunits and cooperates with talin during integrin activation. The kit supports studies of cell-matrix adhesion, cytoskeletal remodeling, mechanotransduction, and integrin-mediated signaling in cancer, fibrosis, and cardiovascular disease models.

Configured as a 96-assay microplate kit, the format accommodates standard laboratory workflows and high-throughput screening. The procedure uses a two-antibody recognition approach with a biotinylated detection reagent and an enzyme-conjugated streptavidin step, producing a colorimetric read-out on a conventional plate reader. Each kit ships with a pre-coated plate, calibration standards prepared from recombinant human Kindlin 2, detection antibody, assay buffer, wash concentrate, substrate solution, and stop reagent, giving laboratories the consumables needed to generate a full standard curve and run unknown specimens in parallel.

Typical research applications include profiling Kindlin 2 expression in cell culture lysates, conditioned media, and tissue homogenates from human donors. The kit is intended for research use only and is suited to laboratories investigating tumor invasion, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, platelet aggregation, and integrin pathway pharmacology. Because Kindlin 2 expression varies across tissue types and disease states, the assay is useful for biomarker discovery projects that require consistent, plate-based quantification.
