Assay Genie's KIR3DL1 ELISA kit is an in vitro immunoassay built to quantify the Killer Cell Immunoglobulin Like Receptor 3DL1 protein in human research samples. KIR3DL1 is a key inhibitory receptor expressed on natural killer cells and select T-cell subsets, where it surveys target cells for HLA class I expression. The kit arrives as a complete set of reagents in a microplate format, with pre-coated wells, detection antibody, and standards calibrated to the recombinant receptor ectodomain.
Laboratories studying NK cell biology, HLA-B ligand interactions, and transplantation immunogenetics use this assay to measure receptor levels in tissue homogenates and cell lysates, supporting research into viral immunity, cancer immunosurveillance, and graft-versus-host dynamics. Reconstituted reagents are stored refrigerated; the microplate should be kept dry and protected from light between runs to preserve binding activity.
Each pack contains reagents and assay buffer components sufficient for the indicated number of determinations in a single-use plate configuration. Intended for research use only, not for diagnostic procedures.
