Human KIBRA/WWC1 ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of KIBRA (WWC1) in human samples, this Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Reported sensitivity is 46.875 pg/mL, with a working range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Spike-and-recovery across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma gave ranges of 85–105% (averages 91–97%), and dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 fell between 81–104% across the same matrices. The assay is read at 450 nm following TMB colour development, and components are intended for storage at 2–8°C.

KIBRA, also known as WWC1 (UniProt Q8IX03), is a protein implicated in cell growth, proliferation, and memory formation. Its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and cognitive impairments, placing the target within the epigenetics and nuclear signalling research area.
