Human KI-67/MKI67 ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit enables in vitro quantitative determination of human MKI67 (KI-67) concentrations in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The kit uses a colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich format and is validated for high sensitivity and specificity, making it well suited to research on cell proliferation in cancer, cardiovascular disease and neurodegenerative disorders.

Validated performance figures supplied by the manufacturer include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/ml, a detection range of 0.313–20 ng/ml, intra-assay CV <8%, inter-assay CV <10%, and spike-and-recovery averages of 92% in serum, 97% in EDTA plasma and 94% in UFH plasma. The kit is intended for research use only and is stored at 4°C for 6 months.

The target, MKI67 (UniProt P46013, gene ID 4288), encodes the nuclear proliferation marker Antigen KI-67, a chromatin-associated protein widely used as an indicator of proliferating cells in tumour biology and other disease research.
