Human Ketohexokinase (KHK) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA Kit for the quantitative measurement of human Ketohexokinase (KHK) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples. It specifically recognizes natural and recombinant human Ketohexokinase, also known by the synonym hepatic fructokinase, a homodimer enzyme that catalyzes the phosphorylation of the ketose sugar fructose to fructose-1-phosphate. Ketohexokinase is an essential enzyme involved in fructose metabolism and is of interest in research on metabolic disorders, diabetes, and liver diseases.

The kit delivers a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 4.9% and an inter-assay CV of 8.6%. Linearity has been established across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for serum (104-116%, 101-111%, 106-116%, 104-114%), EDTA plasma (101-112%, 80-92%, 108-118%, 98-107%) and heparin plasma (102-114%, 115-124%, 88-98%, 93-103%).
